Building Information

We have reserved the labs and rooms in the same building we had last year. However, the name changed from Taylor/CEBA Hall to Patrick Taylor Hall (Taylor).

LSU Parking Information

To park on Friday between 2:00 and 4:30 we have access to the Taylor/CEBA building parking lot. If you are coming down Acadian Thruway continue past Tower Drive, and take the first road on your left after you go past the Dairy Store (You will be turning between an empty corner and the LSU PAWS Copy Store. There should be a parking person out there to open the gates and let you in and out. At 4:30 the gates will open. Registration doesn't open until 4:00 and pizza will be delivered at 6:00.

From any of the hotels on Acadian you can to get to LSU by going south on Acadian.

Click here for a retouched map that shows how to get from the Comfort Inn or the LaQuinta to Coates Hall INote: We are in Taylor/CEBA, not Coates this year. Instead of turning North on Tower Drive, proceed West until the first street you can turn South [left] on [Ceba Ln]. Turn left here. The big sprawling building to your left is Taylor/CEBA and the lab is 1302 -- about the center of the complex.) with a purple path.

Just West of the Comfort Inn (across the street) is a really good place to eat - TJ Ribs. They have great ribs, steaks, etc. Just South of the interstate is an Outback and a Lone Star Steak House.

One block to the east of the Comfort Inn (get on the interstate going east and get back off) is College Drive. If you go south on College Drive, you will find Taco Bell, IHOP, McDonalds and several others. You will also find a Walmart here. Directly across College (on the service road) is Chili's and several others. To the North on College Drive is a Wendy's along with several other places if you turn right on to Corporate drive (first right off College N).

Several other hotels exist in this area.

Please note that Acadian Thruway has a 40 MPH speed limit that is often enforced.
